1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing traceondesign.com, placing an order, submitting a project brief, or engaging any service offered by Trace On Design (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), you (“Client,” “you”) agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Ifyou do not agree, do not use our website or services.

• Services Offered

Trace On Design provides B2B architectural sign design services, including but not limited to:

• Sign design (monument signs, channel letters, pylon signs, cabinet signs, light boxes)
• CAD & shop drawings, permit drawings, fabrication details, and technical documentation
• 3D rendering and visualization
• Branding, identity, and signage standards
• Environmental graphics design (EGD), ADA signage, and wayfinding systems
• 3D printing and prototyping file preparation
• Downloadable PDF design templates
• Ready-made sign products (wall signs, wayfinding signs)

Services are provided to sign shops, architecture firms, design studios, franchise sign companies, and other B2B clients. We do not currently serve individual consumers.

• Engagement Types & Payment Terms

• Project RateA flat fee is quoted in writing before any work begins.A 50% deposit is required to initiate work. The remaining 50% is due upon final file delivery.Deposits are non-refundable once work has commenced.Up to 3 rounds ofrevisions are included. Additional revisions are billed at $75/hr.

• Rush delivery (under 24 hours) is subject to a 25% surcharge.
  • Scope changes after work has started may result in a revised quote.

• Hourly RateRates vary by role: Sign Designer ($75/hr), Technical Drafter ($125/hr), 3D Specialist ($165/hr).Billed in 30-minute increments.Minimum hours apply: Sign Designer (2 hrs), Technical Drafter (4 hrs), 3D Specialist (6 hrs).Pre-payment is required for new clients on the first session.Returning clients may be invoiced net-7.Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice are billed at 50% ofbooked time.

• Agency Plan$2,200/week, billed in advance on the 1st of each month. Includes up to 40 design hours/month; additional hours billed at $65/hr. Minimum commitment of 1 month; cancel anytime with 15 days’ written notice before the next billing cycle. Up to 8 unused hours may roll over to the following month. Hours beyond the rollover cap are forfeited. The plan may be paused once per 6-month period for up to 30 days.

• Accepted Payment Methods

ACH transfer, credit card, PayPal, or Zelle. All prices are in USD.

• Late Payments

Invoices unpaid beyond the agreed terms may be subject to a 1.5% monthly late fee. Work may be paused on active projects until outstanding balances are settled.

• Digital Downloads & PDF Templates
• PDF design templates are sold at a fixed price of $29.99 per file.
• All sales ofdownloadable files are final and non–refundable once the file has been accessed or downloaded.
• Templates are licensed for the buyer’s professional use only. They may not be resold, redistributed, or sublicensed.

• Files are provided as-is. Trace On Design is not liable for printing or fabrication outcomes resulting from template use.

• Deliverables & File Ownership
• Upon receipt of full payment, the Client receives full ownership ofall final deliverable files produced for their project.
• Trace On Design retains the right to display completed work in its portfolio, website, and marketing materials, unless a Non–Disclosure Agreement (NDA) is in place.
• NDAs are available upon request at no additional cost.
• Draft files, working files, and source documents not included in the agreed deliverable set remain the property of Trace On Design.
• White-label delivery (files without Trace On branding) is available upon request.

• Revisions & Scope
• Revisions are defined as modifications within the originally agreed scope.
• Changes to project scope, sign type, dimensions, brand direction, or format after work has begun constitute a scope change and may be billed separately.
• Trace On Design will notify the Client in writing before proceeding with any out-of-scope work.

• Client Responsibilities

The Client agrees to:

• Provide accurate briefs, brand assets, reference files, and specifications before work begins.
• Respond to review requests within a reasonable timeframe (typically 3 business days).
• Ensure all submitted materials (logos, fonts, images) are properly licensed for use.
• Obtain any required permits, approvals, or sign code compliance reviews independently. Trace On Design produces design and technical documents but does not guarantee regulatory approval.

• Intellectual Property
• The Client warrants that all materials submitted to Trace On Design are owned by the Client or properly licensed.
• Trace On Design will not knowingly reproduce copyrighted material without authorization.
• Final deliverables produced by Trace On Design become the property ofthe Client upon full payment.
• Trace On Design retains copyright over its original creative work until full payment is received.

• Confidentiality

Trace On Design treats all client project information, brand assets, and business details as confidential. Information will not be shared with third parties without Client consent, except as required by law. A formal NDA may be executed upon request.

1. Disclaimer of Warranties

Services and products are provided “as is.“ Trace On Design makes no warranties — express or implied — regarding fitness for a specific fabrication method, sign code compliance, or installation outcome. Clients are responsible for verifying that design files meet local code requirements before fabrication.

1. Limitation ofLiability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Trace On Design’s total liability for any claim arising from services rendered shall not exceed the amount paid by the Client for the specific project in dispute. Trace On Design is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages including lost profits, production delays, or fabrication errors.

1. Dispute Resolution

In the event ofa dispute, both parties agree to first attempt resolution in good faith through direct communication. Ifunresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be submitted to binding

arbitration under the rules ofthe American Arbitration Association. These Terms are governed by the laws ofthe State of Georgia.

1. Modifications to These Terms

Trace On Design reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted at traceondesign.com with an updated effective date. Continued use ofservices after changes are posted constitutes acceptance ofthe revised Terms.
